The pdf attached to this "album" is a fanzine that was was born from a facebook meme in which I was nominated to post photos of ten albums which had had a significant influence on my life. “No reviews, no explanations”, I was told. Well, bugger that. I’d much prefer to hear the story behind an album’s significance than to just see a photo of the cover. So I wrote a few paragraphs about each selection, though inevitably I couldn’t narrow my choices down to merely ten albums. Later, as I was quite enjoying the nostalgic reverie (and also to preserve my sanity mid-lockdown), I continued the process, selecting an album of significance for every letter from A-Z. These A-Z posts are reprinted here; from Laurie Anderson to The Zombies, via Cluster, Carole King, OMD and 10cc.
